How Maisey Latch Was Built

Hi, I’m Kyler Maisey, founder of Maisey Latch. Growing up in Anchorage, Alaska, I learned the value of hard work early—mowing lawns, shoveling snow, and eventually building fences with my dad. By 19, I started my own company, Maisey Fence, LLC, growing it from a single truck to a full team serving Anchorage, Girdwood, and Eagle River.

Through years of fence building, I saw the same frustration over and over—gates that wouldn’t close due to frost heaves and shifting ground. I knew there had to be a better solution, so I designed a self-adjusting gate latch that moves with the fence, eliminating the need for constant realignment.

That’s how the Maisey Latch was born. Engineered for durability, adjustability, and stress-free security, it’s now helping homeowners and businesses keep their gates secure—no matter the season.
